A Facebook user battling cancer was left disgusted after being bombarded with adverts for funeral directors on the social networking site.
Daniel Kapp was diagnosed with cancer last month and began researching his illness online.
The following day, he logged into Facebook and noticed that the advertisements on Facebook were all geared towards local funeral homes.
He said: “I was just knocked off my feet to see that there on the screen.
“It is just completely insensitive. And every time I tried to delete it, it appeared again.”
The 46-year-old, from Austria, is outraged that Facebook is using the targeted advertising technique based on his internet history.
